SEUSSICAL the MUSICAL!

My school's doing it. In a few weeks. I'm running crew for it. We built a 12 foot tall platform for someone to stand on, and to 6 foot tall platforms. We made Horton/Mazy's nest, and the clover field, and a bunch of Seuss-y trees. I cut out like, all of the pieces just mentioned.

On that note, have you ever heard of a cutawl? It's this awesome tool that is like a sewing machine-toaster-jigsaw all rolled into one. "We took the most evil parts, of the most evil cars, and made them in to Project Satan." Yeah, it is steered by these two red knobby things that you drag it around on the whatever-it-is you're cutting and it cuts it out. Depending on the blade, the cutawl can even cut through metal, plexiglass, and glass. I just use the wood/basic use blade. Still, for all of the stuff I listed of having cut, I broke about 6 blades.

We're at rehersals until late-late-late at night, about 10 of the clock. Okay, so it isn't that late, but we spend about 8 hours working. What fun.
